Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report to yet another update on the club’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Braut Haaland ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Blues are trying to sign the Borussia Dortmund striker as they look to belatedly replace Sergio Aguero in their team, having failed to land a marquee forward in the last summer transfer window.
The Citizens are believed to be leading the race for the 21-year-old’s signature, while La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on his situation.
According to Sky Deutschland as relayed by Sport Witness, Pep Guardiola’s side have emerged as the ‘favourite’ in ‘recent weeks’ to sign the Norway international.
In addition to this as per the report, the Premier League reigning champions are currently in ‘pole position’ to take the former Red Bull Salzburg man in the next window.
It’s claimed the opportunity to play under Guardiola should ‘appeal to Haaland’, and that his arrival at the Etihad would make the frontman one of the stars at the club.
In light to the update, many Man City fans have reacted – here are some of the best responses.
