Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Erling Haaland has given his green light to move to the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola may not be giving any indication one way or another, but the signs point to Manchester City becoming Erling Haaland’s next destination.
Multiple reports Tuesday suggest that City has a deal with Haaland, will pay Borussia Dortmund his €75 million release clause and any and all subsequent fees, commissions, bonuses and outlandish wages to land the 21-year-old Norwegian prodigy, who would more than fulfill the club’s glaring need at striker.
According to a report from David Ornstein of The Athletic, Erling Haaland is on the verge of a move to England after agreeing to personal terms and approving a move to Manchester City.
The report claims the details – the payment to Borussia Dortmund, commission to his representatives and the details of his contract – still need to be ironed out.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
“Trust me mate I think it’s fair enough to say it’s basically done given that most of the very well known sources are releasing positive indications”
