Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Pep Guardiola’s side are now pushing to sign Erling Haaland, making big effort to sign the striker.
The Blues are trying to sign the Borussia Dortmund striker as they look to belatedly replace Sergio Aguero in their team, having failed to land a marquee forward in the last summer transfer window.
They are believed to be leading the race for the 21-year-old’s signature, while La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on his situation.
According to the latest information of Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, City are pushing for the signing of Erling Haaland and are making ‘big efforts’ to land the Norway international in the summer.
It has been revealed that the Blues are holding direct contacts with the striker’s representatives over a sensational switch for Haaland to Manchester, with Pep Guardiola eager to secure the Borussia Dortmund’s signature ‘at all costs’.
The Journalist further mentioned that though Man City are in pole position to close a deal for Haaland, Real Madrid remain in the race and a decision on his future is yet to be made by the former Red Bull Salzburg talisman.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.

“Somehow I don’t believe Pep wants him as badly as Kane. In any case I believe that if Lewandowski goes to Barca, Haaland will go Bayern. Better go for Nunez or Nkunku.”
