Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have joined the chase for Middlesbrough wing-back Djed Spence.
Spence is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest from Boro, where he has established himself as one of the top young talents in the Championship this season.
And his performances have sparked interest from a growing list of top flight suitors, with Pep Guardiola also reportedly keen on the 21-year-old full-back.
According to Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Manchester City have joined the chase for Djed Spence, with plenty of clubs across Germany and England vying for the right-back’s signature.
And per Plettenberg, it will take a fee of between €10 million and €15 million to secure Spence’s signature in the summer – which is the equivalent of between £8.3 million and £12.4 million.

The Premier League champions could look to bring him as cover and competition for Kyle Walker. Plus with Joao Cancelo establishing himself on the left side of the defence, the Cityzens need a backup at right-back.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
