Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring Riyad Mahrez’s contract situation at the Etihad.
The Algeria star is enjoying his best campaign for City and he has netted in his last seven successive appearances to be the third player to do so under Pep Guardiola during the Spaniard’s illustrious managerial career.
The 30-year-old forward is Manchester City’s leading goalscorer this season with sixteen goals in twenty seven matches in all competitions.
Mahrez’s current contract expires in 16 months and Manchester City face a dilemma over handing him new terms or letting him leave him
According to David Anderson via Daily Mirror, Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring Riyad Mahrez’s contract situation at Manchester City, with his current deal set to expire in 2023.
The report adds that Man City could delay to extend Mahrez’s contract until next season, but will runs the risk of him signing a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club from January.
