Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club and Liverpool are watching the progress of Bukayo Saka at Arsenal.
Still just 20 years old, he has already racked up 100 appearances for the Gunners, and is in many ways the embodiment of the side that Mikel Arteta is trying to build at Arsenal in the years to come.
The England international has scored six goals and contributed four assists in the Premier League this season.
According to a report from ESPN, Manchester City are interested in signing Bukayo Saka, and could make a move for the Arsenal star this summer should the Gunners miss out on the top four
They’re not the only ones, however. Liverpool also love the look of Saka and will join Man City in any race.
Saka is one of the most exciting young attackers in the Premier League and Arsenal will want him as a major piece of their plan going forward.
It all puts Arsenal in a very difficult position. As Saka’s contract expires in 2023, they will be under intense pressure to sell at the end of the season – unless they can get him to agree on a new deal.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
