Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that details exact figure Tottenham turned down from the club for Harry Kane last summer.
City did all they could to land the 28-year-old striker but Tottenham refused to negotiate. It was then reported that Pep Guardiola had even personally requested the Etihad hierarchy to negotiate the signing of Kane.
Levy stood firm on his £150million valuation and it might have been too much to ask of City who had spent £100million on Jack Grealish during that time.
As we approach a new summer in a few more months and with City still in the market for a striker, rumours around the England captain’s future is showing no sign of going away.
According to The Telegraph, not as much as some might have imagined. Their report today claims that the only actual bid to come from City to Spurs for Kane was in the region of £75m, with a further £25m in add-ons.
Beyond that, The Telegraph reports how City considered offering a number of players, including Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus, Aymeric Laporte to make the deal happen.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
Now they’d be lucky to sell him for 75m come summer. https://t.co/qfWuCccidV

Good business from Levy, turning down a potential £100M for a 28 year old. Secured them 8th spot.
