Manchester City will be taking on Fulham in the FA Cup fourth round at the Etihad Stadium, as Pep Guardiola’s side continue their quest to win it the seventh time in the club’s history,
City beat Swindon Town 4-1 on Friday night to secure their place in the next round while Fulham needed a 105th minute winner from Harry Wilson at Bristol City to progress.
The blue half of Manchester have had a very good run of results against Fulham in recent years with the Craven Cottage side last beating City back in April 2009.
The last time these two sides faced off in any competition, Manchester City came out 3-0 winners at Craven Cottage in the Premier League, with goals from John Stones, Gabriel Jesus, and Sergio Agüero.
An exact date for the tie has yet to be set but the fourth round is scheduled to be played between Friday 4th February and Monday 7th February.
With a cheap FA Cup semi-final exit at the hands of Chelsea last season, Pep Guardiola will want to progress even further this time around and get his hands on the prestigious trophy for the second time during his Etihad career.
Here is how City fans have reacted to the draw.
Avoided Wigan thankfully 🙏🏽 https://t.co/HPIQNJS8yb

Fulham is actually a pretty hard draw. Will be much more difficult than most people think

I’d be surprised if we don’t win.
