Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has opened up on Manchester City’s current team, claiming that they are “unique”.
The Citizens celebrated a 2 – 1 win over Arsenal with an impressive comeback at the weekend. Riyad Mahrez and Rodri became the goalscorers from Pep Guardiola’s side.
Now City are ten points clear of the second-placed Chelsea, which means the Sky Blues are very close to winning the Premier League title.
“I look at Man City and they’re a unique team,” Neville said about City.
“I’ve never seen anything like them in this country – the way in which they play football, the way they dominate. Against Arsenal, they weren’t at their best but they won…”
“I have to say, during the last four weeks, they’ve been outstanding… Man City have got a strong squad, they have a great manager, a unique way of playing, they demoralise you when they play football ordinarily.”
These Gary Neville’s comments were shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from Man City fans.
