Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have been named as only one of two English clubs that Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic would join.
The 21-year-old striker was linked with a move to the Etihad as Harry Kane alternative as City were in the market for a prolific striker across the course of the summer transfer window.
Having failed to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur during the summer, Vlahovic has been regarded as a realistic alternative ahead of 2022.
The Serbian forward, who is who is attracting interest from nearly every top side on the planet, scored 21 goals last season, and has 18 in 22 already this term, further adding to his growing reputation across the continent.
According to a new report by Tutto Mercato Web, as translated and relayed by Sport Witness, four clubs ‘could’ land Dusan Vlahovic in the coming summer transfer window – Barcelona, Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester City.
It is claimed that the previously mentioned Premier League giants are the ‘only two’ Premier League clubs who would be in contention for Dusan Vlahovic’s signature, should they come calling in the coming few months.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.

Vlahovic is my first choice striker in the summer. And that’s including Haaland. In the long run, I think Vlahovic would benefit this team more
