A series of Manchester City fans, flocking to Twitter have reacted over news on their star Kevin De Bruyne.
The 30-year-old has been missing from action over the last three games with manager Pep Guardiola confirming in late November that he had contracted COVID-19.
City, who are unbeaten in their last eleven matches against Villa in all competitions, are looking to kickstart a busy month of Premier League football with a victory against Steven Gerrard’s new side.
However, Pep Guardiola won’t be able to call upon Kevin De Bruyne for the visit to Villa Park, despite testing negative after a bout of Covid-19 and the length of midfielder’s absence is still not certain.
On Tuesday, the Spaniard revealed that although De Bruyne was yet to return to training after testing positive for Covid-19, the Belgian was out of self-isolation after returning a negative PCR test.
The City midfield is doing just fine without him so a cautious approach is probably the most sensible one for the medical team to take.
However, Coming into the busiest time of the season, when nine Premier League games are crammed into six weeks, Man City Fans must have been so concerned.
The news was shared on Twitter by City Chief, and it attracted plenty of attention from the supporters.
