Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports that claims West Ham are ‘interested in signing’ Nathan Ake.
The Holland international has found consistent game time hard to come by since his £40m move from Bournemouth last year.
Due to the form of Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte and John Stones, Ake finds himself stuck behind in the pecking order.
The 26-year-old defender has made nine appearances so far this term, completing the full 90 minutes seven times.
According to an exclusive report from 90 Min, the Holland international has emerged as a transfer target for the Hammers after losing Angelo Ogbonna to injury.
Whether Man City would be willing to sell Ake in January remains to be seen. It is suggested that the Hammers will pursue a loan deal in January with an obligation to buy in the summer.
