Many Sky Blues have been reacting to Leroy Sane post on twitter after Manchester City secured Derby win on Saturday Afternoon.
The reigning Premier League champions took their bragging rights in the derby as Pep Guardiola’s side claimed an easy 2-0 win over their United rivals.
After losing 2-0 to Crystal Palace last week, City have bounced back in fine fashion with the Manchester giants winning big midweek in the UEFA Champions League and now claiming victory in the derby.
The German international, who became City’s first, and as yet only, prized asset to snub the club for pastures elsewhere during the Sheikh Mansour era, posted a simple three-word congratulation message on his official Twitter account after City secured the win.
Leroy posted: “Derby winners! Congrats @ManCity #ManchesterIsBlue”.
City are now six points ahead of United in the standings, with the reigning Premier League champions gaining some valuable ground in the title race.
With City now just three points behind Chelsea in the division after this matchday, the blue side of Manchester have responded in the best way possible over the past week.
Indeed, City are flying high after their Manchester derby win. And on social media, supporters love what Leroy Sane had to say on Twitter about the result, with many wishing to see him back at the Etihad.
The 25-year-old spent four seasons at the Etihad Stadium following his arrival from Schalke for a reported fee of £37 million, winning two Premier League titles and other domestic silverware.
Here’s what some City fans had to say about Sane’s message on Twitter…
