Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club remain the ‘most likely’ club to sign Erling Haaland in the summer.
The Borussia Dortmund’s striker is reportedly Pep Guardiola’s ‘primary striker target’ as he looks for a new No 9 after the departure of Sergio Aguero last summer.
The Norwegian has become one of the most sought-after players in the transfer market since making his breakthrough at Red Bull Salzburg a couple of years ago.
Haaland, who remains under contract with the Black and Yellow until 2024, has already netted 13 goals in 10 appearances for Dortmund this term despite injury concerns.
Such remarkable progress in Germany has invariably put the Norwegian goal machine on the radars of many European football clubs, with Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid among his suitors.
According to Norwegian Football Expert Andreas Korssund, Manchester City remain the ‘most likely’ club to sign Erling Haaland in the summer.
The report states that the striker is ‘open’ to making a move to the Etihad, and has even been heard talking about how much the Etihad ‘impresses him’.
Haaland has a tough choice to make next summer. There will be many suitors and a lot of money thrown around. But if winning trophies is his priority, Man City stand a great chance in the race.
In light to the update, many Man City fans have reacted – here are some of the best responses.

He’s a very fine player indeed! The City hierarchy would be so unbelievably inept should they let this young man slip through their blue fingers. He’s the business City could use to excellent advantage!! Go get him!!
