Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is eyeing a summer swoop for Paris Saint-Germain academy jewel Ayman Kari next season.
The Paris Saint-Germain youth player currently plies his trade for the PSG U-19 team and is regarded as one of the most talented prospects in the academy.
However, he is expected to move on, should the club fail to offer him regular game-time in the first-team next season.
According to a report from AS, Man City have become ‘interested’ in the situation of Paris Saint Germain midfielder Ayman Kari (16) – who is ‘unlikely’ to remain at PSG as his ‘great performances’ in their youth side have made him a ‘highly valued’ player in Europe.
The reigning Premier League champions are hoping to prise the 17-year-old away from Paris next season and give him the opportunity to shine in England.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, some Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
Ayman, idk about anymore midfielders, we have enough.

The 16-year-old has been known by City since the 2018 ‘KDB Cup’ where he featured for PSG, as Pep Guardiola watched on. City and Pep also found Romeo Lavia at this tournament. https://t.co/cSL49NAWkI pic.twitter.com/QepTUbcBlz

Kari style of play can be likened to Yaya Toure, as he is a tall midfielder who is blessed with immense technical quality and a brilliant range of passing.
Kari, in that regard, could prove to be a good long-term investment for the Citizens. His technical prowess and passing could indeed make him an ideal fit for Pep Guardiola’s setup.
