Real Madrid are reportedly interested in Raheem Sterling and could launch a move for the the Manchester City forward.
The England forward has been with City since 2015, when he moved from Liverpool, and has won three Premier League titles with the club.
However, the 26-year-old has been struggling with his form and fierce competition from attacking stars including Phil Foden and club record signing Jack Grealish.
Speaking at the FT Business of Sport US Summit on Thursday, Sterling admitted that he would be “open” to leaving City if his game time does not increase.
The lack of game time for the 26-year-old has led to speculation regarding his future with his current contract due to expire in 2023.
And it appears Many European clubs have been keeping tabs on his situation in view to a move in January when the transfer window reopens.
There are continued rumblings from the Spanish press that Barcelona are heavily interested in the England international.
According to a report by Spanish publication AS, Sterling has popped up on the radar of Real Madrid over a potential move in next summer’s transfer window.
