Plenty of Manchester City fans on social media are over the moon as Paul Pogba will miss the Manchester derby following his red card against Liverpool.
The French international received a straight red card this weekend in the Merseyside club’s 5-0 demolition of their Manchester rivals, with Pogba barely having a touch of the ball.
The France star, who was introduced at half-time, was given his march orders for a dodgy tackle on Naby Keita.
As a result, the midfielder will now miss Manchester United’s next three Premier League games, including next month’s derby against City at Old Trafford.
Guardiola’s side already sit six points above their Manchester rivals following results over the weekend and could secure a huge result at Old Trafford.
A lot of Man City fans fans are loving this as Pogba, who has been in excellent form this season, will miss the derby next month.
Here’s what some City fans had to say about Pogba’s red card on Twitter…
