Some Manchester City fans are not happy after Ferran Soriano lost his European Club Association seat to Tottenham Hotspur chief Daniel Levy.
The Manchester City CEO has failed to get a place on the board of the European Club Association, a body representing the interests of professional association football clubs in UEFA.
After frustrating City all summer in negotiations for Harry Kane, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has secured another victory over the Blues.
The Manchester City official, who was vying for a place on the board, has left the position on Monday night when it became clear that Daniel Levy was preferred by most members.
According to Simon Stone of the BBC, Ferran Soriano will be an ‘observer’ until the next seat at the European Club Association board becomes available.
City, Spurs, and four other Premier League clubs were ejected from the ECA earlier this year when they signed up to join the failed
