Manchester City are monitoring Kingsley Coman‘s contract situation at Bayern Munich, according to a report published by French outlet Le10sport.
The France international, who joined Bayern from Juventus in 2017, has previously been linked with moves to Man City but a transfer has never materialised.
The versatile Bayern Munich star has just two years remaining on his current deal with the Bundesliga club and the prospect of him leaving the Allianz Arena now appears to be becoming increasing real.
According to French outlet Le 10 Sport, Coman is now considering his options, despite Bayern wanting to tie him down to a new contract.
The report continue that he would prefer a move to the Premier League, having already plied his trade in the Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1.
Le10sport’s belief is that both Manchester City and Liverpool would be interested in signing him, were the Frenchman to become available.
The 25-year-old has already played in three of the ‘big five’ leagues and a move to England would mean that he has competed in a fourth.
Manchester City is the default option as the player is quite familiar with Pep Guardiola. He was the one that brought him to Bayern, and the Calatan mastermind could certainly welcome him at Etihad.
