Pep Guardiola has been handed a huge boost at Manchester City ahead of their trip to Leicester City this weekend, with Kevin De Bruyne recovery from injury ahead of the return of domestic football this weekend.
De Bruyne struggled with an injury he picked up at Euro 2020, where he limped off with an ankle injury in the quarter-final win over Portugal.
Despite that, he came on for the final ten minutes against Tottenham for Pep Guardiola’s side first game of the season but failed to shake off the injury problem.
The Belgian international has return to training and could be fit enough to feature against the Foxes on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester City’s new video released on Twitter has shown De Bruyne linking up with Phil Foden, who has also returned to training this week following an ankle injury.
Back doing his thing! 💫
