Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club aren’t plotting another Harry Kane bid next summer.
City did all they could to land Kane but Tottenham refused to negotiate, and with no suitable alternative they decided to go into the season with Jack Grealish as their only senior addition.
Levy stood firm on his £150million valuation and it might have been too much to ask of City who had spent £100million on Jack Grealish during that time.
After missing out on Kane this season, Pep Guardiola’s side are not keen on going through the same thing again, regardless of the striker’s future at the club.
According to Eurosport, Manchester City have now given up on their pursuit of Kane and are not planning a bid next summer, despite rumours.
The report claims the premier leaque champions will switch their focus to bringing in someone like Real Sociedad attacking midfielder Mikel Oyarzabal instead, as they need him as a replacement for the unsettled Bernardo Silva.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
Txiki finally gained some common sense and realised that he is not the one to replace Aguero.
