Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report of Pep Guardiola’s planned for Jack Grealish’s arrival at the Etihad.
Multiple reports say that Aston Villa captain is close to a move to the Etihad Stadium after the club’s £100m offer to Villa.
The Aston Villa skipper, 25, flew north on Wednesday night to seal his British-record move and will have a medical this morning, before signing a deal worth over £200,000 per week.
According to The Sun, Man City plan to hand Jack Grealish debut in Community Shield clash with Leicester as they push for transfer
Manchester City take on the premier league club at Wembley Stadium on Saturday afternoon in the season’s curtain-raiser.
Ahead of the game at Wembley, Pep Guardiola has revealed that he may select some of the younger players in his starting line-up for the game.
It means that if Grealish completes his move in time for the clash, he may have to attempt to make a first impression from the bench against City at Wembley.
Grealish’s most recent match was England’s Euro 2020 final loss to Italy at Wembley Stadium on July 11.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.
