Manchester City fans have reacted on Twitter to the claims that Daniel Levy is set to hold firm with his intention to keep Harry Kane when he comes face-to-face with the premier league champions on Sunday.
Both clubs will lock horns today in the Premier League in what is a badly-timed game for many involved, more so for the Blues..
Kane only joined his Spurs teammates out on the training pitch at Hotspur Way for the first time on Friday, so there’s no way he will start.
But he could still feature on the bench, which would definitely make things a lot more interesting, especially if he is introduced into the game.
It is no secret that the 28-year-old has been one of City’s main transfer targets for the entirety of this summer transfer window.
The Sky Blues have been after a replacement for all-time top goal scorer and club legend Sergio Aguero with sporting director Txiki Begiristain earmarking him as the man for Pep Guardiola.
The 28-year-old is believed to have made it clear to Spurs that he wants to move to the Etihad Stadium, but Spurs have taken a firm stance on the forward and do not wish to sell.
The Daily Telegraph reported last night that Daniel Levy is set to hold firm with his intention to keep Harry Kane when he comes face-to-face with Man City officials on Sunday.
The report adds that Levy is adamant he doesn’t wish to sell, and is braced for an official bid from Manchester City in the final weeks of August.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

It’s a win win situation, if he doesn’t sell we get Haaland next year

Just to make things clear: getting haaland next year isn’t guaranteed at all to begin with

Second how are y’all calm knowing we have no striker this season???? We brought grealish so he can create more chances with no one to convert?! Look at Chelsea and how strong they look.
I think i must be the only City fan that can't see Kane is not happening and nothing happening on a striker front!! It's going to be a long season
