Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Juventus are interested in signing Aymeric Laporte on loan.
In recent weeks, there has been growing speculation Laporte may find a way out of the Etihad Stadium this summer, with a host of clubs reportedly interested in the Manchester City star.
The 27-year-old moved to the Etihad Stadium from Athletic Bilbao in January 2018 when City activated his £57m release clause, and has been a key player for the defending premier league champions in the last few years.
With City unwilling to meet Spurs’ exceptionally high price tag, defender Laporte is rumoured to be part of a deal that brings the England captain north.
Laporte is believed to want to leave the club this summer, however a move to Spurs may not be on his wish list, preferring instead to move to Spain of Italy,
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport as relayed by Manchester Evening News (MEN), the Old Lady are considering making an enquiry for Laporte’s signature on a temporary basis this summer amid their financial struggles, which have been exacerbated by the pandemic.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
