Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club have joined Premier League rivals Chelsea and Liverpool in showing an interest in Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman.
Coman had an impressive 2020/21 campaign for the Bavarian giants, registering eight goals and 15 assists from 39 appearances in all competitions.
According to the information of French newspaper L’Equipe, as relayed by City Xtra, Premier League champions Manchester City are joined by title rivals Liverpool and ‘especially’ Chelsea in showing an interest in Kingsley Coman.
The report states that newly-appointed Allianz Arena boss Julian Nagelsmann ‘appreciates’ Coman’s qualities and is ‘determined’ to keep him.
He has another two years left on his contract, but talks over an extension have reached a standstill with Bayern’s hierarchy reluctant to meet his wage demands.
Bayern are willing to offer a €4 million raise on Coman’s €9m annual wages. However, he is holding out for a similar package to Leroy Sane, who earns €18m per year.
They are not actively looking to sell him, but have set an asking price of €90m (£77m). The Blues are hoping to reduce the valuation by offering Hudson-Odoi in exchange.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, and it attracted plenty of attention from the fans, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts on the speculation.

Very good player but do we really need him?? I dont think so, unless we sort our primary need for a striker first!!

We don't need a winger. Where are the priorities. We are literally without a striker, and got 4 wingers at this club. Seriously no vision here.
