Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports that claims Lukas Nmecha could be set to join RB Leipzig this summer in a deal worth around €10-12m.
Nmecha joined Anderlecht on loan from Manchester City last summer. Having failed at Preston, Middlesbrough and Wolfsburg during previous loan spells, he had a lot to prove.
The 22-year-old appeared in 41 games on loan for former teammate Vincent Kompany’s club in Anderlecht and contributed to the team’s success with 21 goals and three assists, making him one of the best strikers in the Belgian First Division A.
That form has not gone unnoticed with recently a trio of Bundesliga clubs; RB Leipzig, Stuttgart, and Eintracht Frankfurt are all reportedly interested in the Germany youth international striker.
Embed from Getty ImagesAccording to journalist Sacha Tavolleri via Sport Witness, the German youngster could make the move to Germany after his successful loan spell at Anderlecht last season.
Tavolleri reports any deal with Manchester City would need a fee of ‘between €10m and €12m’ for a permanent transfer.
The German international still has a year left on his City contract and he has previously admitted he wants to break into the first team at the Etihad.
