Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Sunderland are in talks to sign centre-back Callum Doyle on a two-year loan deal.
Doyle, who is due to turn 18 in October, is a product of the Manchester City youth academy. He is a left-footed centre-half who played with City’s Under-18s and Under-23s team last season.
The youngster helped City’s development team win the Premier League 2 title last season, and also played for City’s Under-21s in the Papa John’s Trophy.
According to an exclusive report from Roker Report on Tuesday night, Manchester City academy centre-back Callum Doyle is in talks with Sunderland over a two-year loan move to the North-East.

The report revealed that the England youth international centre-back has followed Sunderland’s official Instagram page and that he is ‘expected’ to link up with the Black Cats at some point over the summer.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.
Only 17. Immense talent.

Swear he’s only 17 still so that’s quite an offer.

Good move for him sadly this EDS team is really beginning to fall apart! Testament to their success though
