A lot of Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports that claims Barcelona have met with the agents of both Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez.
Barcelona is looking to strengthen its ranks this summer and has already signed free deals with Spanish defender Eric Garcia and Argentine striker Sergio Aguero from Manchester City.
After the signing of Aguero and Garcia last week – albeit on free transfers, FC Barcelona is still looking for interesting options in the market and could have found them in Manchester.
According to journalist Jose Alvarez, speaking on Spanish TV programme El Chiringuito as relayed by City Xtra, Barcelona have now met with the representatives of both Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez.
The report suggests that the Algerian has been left relatively unhappy and holds some level of interest in a move away from Manchester City due to this employer’s interest in the double signing of Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
The news was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.
