Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club ‘seem willing’ to allow Gabriel Jesus to leave on ‘loan with obligation to buy’ this transfer summer.
Jesus scored 14 times this campaign, although he isn’t guaranteed a regular place in the starting lineup for City, especially given Pep Guardiola’s tendency to often field a side without a recognised striker.’
Juventus have closely examined Jesus ahead of a potential summer transfer and intend to move for Manchester City striker if Cristiano Ronaldo departs the Allianz Stadium this summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester City ‘seem willing to grant a loan with an obligation to buy’ for the Brazilian, allowing the Serie A heavyweights to ‘spread the investment over several seasons’.
The report claims the Serie A side would prefer a loan with option to buy, however that is ‘almost impossible’.
The links with Jesus come amid speculation that City are looking to upgrade their attack ahead of next season by bringing in Jack Grealish and Harry Kane from Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
The news was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, and it attracted plenty of attention from the fans, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts on the speculation.
Italians and loans with options to buy, as night follows day 😂😂

Straight cash or stay at City. We need money, money, money if we want to bring Kane.

So they want him basically without paying for him. How about no. It’s about time we grew some balls with these clubs and stuck an extra few 10s of millions on the price when they come sniffing like they do with us.

I can’t believe our director of football would be stupid enough to lose a player for nothing with ridiculous loans again?
