Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Pep Guardiola sees Harry Kane as the ‘perfect’ replacement for Sergio Agüero.
Aguero bowed out after 10 years in English football with a brace in his final Premier League game before sealing a highly-anticipated move to Barcelona.
Manchester City will be busy in the transfer market this summer a Guardiola looks to build his title defence, with Chairman Khaldoon confirming the Cityzens will be spending money this summer.
After seeing their quadruple dreams scuppered by Chelsea at the end of 2020/21 the Catalan coach will be aiming to strengthen his squad options.
According to TalkSPORT, Pep Guardiola sees Totherham Hotspur‘s striker Harry Kane as the ‘perfect’ replacement for Sergio Agüero and Daniel Levy will ask for £120M to sell him.
Acquiring the Premier League top goalscorer could be the final piece of the puzzle for City who are still searching for their first ever Champions League triumph, the report adds.
The striker is yet to win any silverware with his boyhood club despite reaching three finals during his time with the north London team.
Manchester United and Chelsea have all also approached the England superstar over a potential signing.
