Manchester City fans are not too happy after it was revealed the club may look to sell a number of young players to fund a move for Harry Kane this summer.
City’s interest in Kane will come as no surprise given the desire of the England international to chase the biggest trophies in the game coupled with the recent departure of club legend Sergio Aguero.
Pep Guardiola wants to snap up the Tottenham Hotspur hitman this summer, and was even reportedly ready to sacrifice both Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus in a bid to do so.
According to Manchester Evening News, the premier league champions will look to sell a number of their younger players to fund the move, including the likes of Yangel Herrera and Pedro Porro.
The news was shared on Twitter by City_Chief, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters. They took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.

Why selling youngsters? I think the structure of the academy was upgraded so that city can have more academy players- especially the brilliant young lads. Give some of them a chance like Foden.

Instead of buying Andrea Silva or bring up Delap you are bring up an old guy who will kill youngster talents

Selling young prospects to fund a transfer for 1 player for now, is a huge mistake

Anything to bring in Kane right now Buh let’s be cautious of who we want to sell! Cole Palmer is out of it, so is Delap and Hodge, even Felix Nmecha should be left out of those selling options!
