A lot of Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays another update on Bernardo Silva potential exit from the Etihad this summer.
The former Monaco man has emerged as one of the players who could be on his way out of Manchester City this summer as they look to freshen up their squad.
The Portuguese scored five goals and laid on nine assists as City reclaimed the Premier League title and reached the Champions League final in 2020-21.
Bernardo Silva has been a regular at Manchester City and an important player for Pep Guardiola, but Sam Lee of The Athletic says the 26-year-old ‘would like to leave’ this summer.
An agreement between Guardiola and Bernardo Silva is said to have been reached over a year ago, when Barcelona wanted to bring the Portuguese attacker to Camp Nou.
Aaccording to a report from the Daily Mail, Pep Guardiola have told Bernardo Silva that he wants him to stay at Manchester City this summer, but he will not stand in his way of leaving for Barcelona should a good offer come in.
The report suggested that Atleti want the 26-year-old, but the Portugal international is keen to move to the Nou Camp. The reason for his departure are cited to be personal. Apparently, he wants to be closer to his family, and playing in Spain, as compared to England, will help him do that.
Barcelona have been told by Manchester City that they value Bernardo Silva above 60 million euros (£51.5m). The Spanish club revealed some willingness to involve other players in a possible deal, and Pep Guardiola will have a preference for Sergi Roberto and Trincao, the report adds.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
60mil? Barca committing a robbery if this happens…

City are worst in business, 60M for the best Portuguese winger is an absolute joke, with more than 3 years left and a market value of 75M don't know why we could even think of 70m

well this is bs because we said no swaps, but 60 million or above is fine i guess. Would prefer a minimum of 70

The last part of this should show that this is a lie as city have already put to bed the player swap idea. Pay 80m or he stays simple

60m euros u got to be joking me 😂

No! No! no! Sergio Roberto is terrible and 29 and I don’t see Barcelona selling Trincao. Cash or nothing and I wouldn’t sell Bernardo for less than £75/80m quite honestly! He’s still got 4 years left on his contract!

I’m gonna cry if we actually get roberto 😭

Bernardo Silva's contracts end in 2025 and to think a player with his quality will be sold for 'more than €60M' 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻

I will be seriously dissapointed if this becomes a reality. pic.twitter.com/Hk4r8jTopl
