Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Tottenham have identify Gabriel Jesus as potential part-exchange options for Harry Kane exit.
City have been one of the many top European clubs to have been linked with Kane in recent weeks and the 27-year-old fuelled speculation by admitting he could leave his boyhood club for a team capable of winning trophies.
The €120m-rated star is one of the game’s finest goalscorers and has been consistently among the Premier League‘s top scorers since breaking into the Tottenham first team in 2014, winning the Golden Boot on two occasions.
After years of reports linking him with a move away, the rumors may well come true as Kane, who still has over three years left on his deal may actually leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
A new striker has been on the agenda for the club for a long time and City are expected to go into the next transfer markets ready to spend big on a striker.
Sky Sports reported on Monday that the England captain has told Tottenham that he wants to leave the club this summer and is keen to resolve his future before Euro 2020 begins on June 11.
According to Daily Mail, Tottenham have identify Gabriel Jesus and Manchester United’s Anthony Martial as potential part-exchange options for Harry Kane exit.
The report claims Spurs started their star striker replacement plans several weeks ago
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
Wouldn’t mind that tbh

I’d 100% love this, have delap as Kane’s back up and torres when required (if we even play with a striker without Kane)

Don’t want to sell him but if we get a world class striker in return, its hard to say no

In all seriousness, Jesus wouldn’t downgrade.

That’s such a spurs move but no way gabby leaves. He’s amazing young player only 23 and very versatile and can sit on bench if needed and works hard with his pressing. pic.twitter.com/wX82iRQ2Uf
