Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is prepared to sell England forward Raheem Sterling this summer after six years at the club.
Since signing for City from Liverpool in 2015, Sterling has been a fantastic servant for the Premier League champions, helping them win the title on three occasions. His performances have also seen him grow into one of England’s most important players.
However, this term has not been his best – the 26-year-old has struggled in the Premier League of late and is no longer considered to be as integral a player as he once was by Guardiola.
According to Daily Mail, Raheem Sterling heads a list of players Manchester City are prepared to offload this summer, with the club willing to listen to offers for the winger.
The report claims that the Premier League champions are planning to refine their squad during the transfer window regardless of the outcome of Saturday’s Champions League final in Porto.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
