Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club have made an approach for rising 17 year-old Palmeiras winger Giovani Henrique.
The 17-year-old, who only has nine appearances for the first team so far, is the latest South American youngsters linked with City, following the signing of Kayky, Yan Couto, Kluiverth Aguilar, and Diego Rosa in recent months.
According to a report from Brazilian news outlet UOL, as relayed by Sport Witness, City Football Group are interested in the Palmeiras winger, and are willing to spend €10M for his signature.
The report claims that the Brazilian side want €20M plus €5M in performance bonuses for Giovani – who scored over 100 goals for Palmeiras’ youth ranks.
Even though it’s not always clear if these youngsters would go straight to Manchester City, the report writes that the player is in the Premier League side’s plans, and will continue to be, despite that first refusal.
