Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports to another update of the club’s interest in Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Citizens, who are expected to be in the market for a new striker at the end of the 2020-21 campaign, have been linked with the 27-year-old as a potential replacement for the club’s all-time leading goal scorer Sergio Aguero.
The Belgium international has been in fine form for Inter once again this term with 26 goals and 7 assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.
According to CorSport via Sport Witness, Man City have ‘probed the ground’ for the Inter Milan striker – who has been valued by Inter at €120M, because ‘they want to keep him’.
The the report claims talks of interest from Pep Guardiola’s side in the player are only rumours or at most, surveys carried out through intermediaries.
In reaction to the report shared on twitter by Man City Xtra, many Sky Blues have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

I do not know what exactly he would bring to City and why we would even be considering asking about him.

I would love lukaku at city. Not sure at that price, but if city can get a better deal I’d love to see it!

I think he had a good season at united if anything. 27 goals in a woeful united team is impressive IMO

He’s said that he’s playing his best football of his career and that he really likes it at Inter, I don’t see this happening at all. Maybe just city indirectly telling Dortmund they can go elsewhere like they did with Koulibaly🤷🏻♂️

100% correct. I think we have to just trust that whoever the board decides to sign, will be in our best interests 💙

Pep Guardiola’s side have been linked with several strikers as they seek to find a replacement for Sergio Aguero this summer.
Lukaku is just one of the names on City’s short list, along with Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Southampton’s Danny Ings among stothers.
Whether either of them can live up to Guardiola’s demands remains to be seen, but they are undoubtedly natural goalscorers; as their individual records shows.
