Kelechi Iheanacho scored his first Premier League hat-trick in Leicester City’s 5-0 win over Sheffield United on Sunday.
The former Manchester City forward has been in superb form of late and underlined his quality with a well-taken treble as the Foxes took a huge step towards a top four finish.
The Nigerian International forward scored two goals with his right-foot before finding the target from range with his left as Leicester condemned bottom-placed Sheffield to another defeat.
After netting a hat-trick against Sheffield United, peope have finally began to take note of his improvement, with some Manchester City fans applauding the Nigerian ace.
The 24-year-old in the event of Vardy’s drought, has netted five. Last season, this would have led to catastrophic consequences. This season, however, whilst his goal drought occurs, Iheanacho has stepped up.
When he first joined Leicester from Manchester City in 2017, many touted it as a bargain deal, and rightfully so. Some City fans have suggested that the club should look to bring the African speedster back to The Etihad following his hat-trick – with one fan even suggesting a swap deal with Jesus.
So happy for him 💙
