Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is keeping tabs on former academy and current Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Pep Guardiola is reportedly a big fan of the 25-year-old, who has started to do well for Juventus after a bit of a stop-start time to his career initially in Italy.
City have been linked with Rabiot already this year. However, that report from Tuttosport at the time claimed a move was unlikely. It seems, then, that Juve’s stance has shifted a tad.
The France international has been a key player in the centre of the park for the Bianconeri this term, but they are willing to sell him for the right price.
According to Calciomercato relayed by Sport Witness, Manchester City are closely monitoring Adrien Rabiot’s situation at Juventus ahead of a possible summer move.
The report claims Juve are open to selling him this summer as they look to bring some cash through the door in order to tie down some of their higher-earners.
The €32m-rated midfielder, who left the City Football Academy in 2008 has made 72 appearances across all competitions for Juventus and has over two years left in his contract.
City are likely to be looking for a replacement for Fernandinho soon and Rabiot looks like he could be a good fit for Guardiola’s style of play and give good quality on the ball in the central midfield area.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
