Isn’t 40m too much for a 18 yo?

He is insane. He is better than Davies.

We need to increase the salary of Zinchenko since he has served us well. 40 million is a lot for such a young player. We need to sell Mendy and get a young LB for 20 million.

Hmmmm. Looks exciting, but also rash and risky. Unsure personally. Don’t think we need to invest this amount of money into left back. Left back is not the reason we haven’t won the CL yet. It’s putting the ball in the net in crucial games.

It’s clear City need a new left-back with Benjamin Mendy failing to push his game on, due to recurrent injuries coupled with poor form that is starting to turn into a liability for Pep Guardiola.
The use of Zinchenko and the recent form of Joao Cancelo may have provided yet another short-term solution, but a competent true left-back is needed at the club.
