Paris Saint-Germain are contemplating whether to make an approach for Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku, according to an Italian media report today.
The Citizens, who are expected to be in the market for a new striker at the end of the 2020-21 campaign, have identified the 27-year-old as a potential replacement for the club’s all-time leading goal scorer Sergio Aguero.
As per The Athletic, City coach Pep Guardiola is a great admirer of Lukaku and wants him to replace Aguero at the Etihad Stadium.
According to Calciomercato, PSG are monitoring the situation at a time when doubts remain over the future of Kylian Mbappe.
Lukaku, who still has just under three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract has plenty of Premier League experience having spent the majority of his career in England.
The €90M-rated star has scored over 100 league goals in spells at Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and Manchester United.
