lkay Gundogan starred as Manchester City put Tottenham to the sword with a 3-0 victory at the Etihad on Saturday evening.
The German won the penalty which led to City taking the lead – and wasn’t trusted to take it, with Rodri getting the nod instead.
City’s intricate passing slices open the Tottenham defense, and Gundogan puts his chance past Hugo Lloris to give his side a 2-0 advantage.
And the German midfielder get on the scoresheet again and ths time completely embarrass Davinson Sanchez in the process.
With City already leading Gundogan then outmuscled Davinson Sanchez for a long pass forward from Ederson before tucking in number two to take his tally to nine in nine Premier League games in 2021.
Gundogan has been in stunning form of late, and with his second goal of the game against Spurs this evening, he’s made it 11 goals in his last 12 Premier League games, from midfield.
What a player, and what an incredible run of form this man is on!
