Loads of Manchester City fans have shared their views on Twitter after Rodrigo Hernández was name as the WhoScored Premier League’s highest rated player of the week after his Midfield Masterclass against Aston Villa on Wednesday evening.
Rodrigo is one of the standout performer to have a played a great part in Manchester City’s success as they extended their winning run to six games in the league, after the 2-0 victory over resilient Aston Villa.
The Spain international, who is valued at £57.6 million by Transfermarkt had been criticised massively by fans at times this season, but that has not been the case recently.
The Manchester City Midfielder’s standout performance against Aston Villa elicited a lot attention especially from Man City fans who after the match took to Twitter to hail Rodri’s ‘monster’ performance against Villa.
According to WhoScored, Rodri is Premier League’s highest rated player of the week followed by Bernardo Silva, Marc Albrighton of Leicester City, Joao Cancelo and Phil Foden as the top five rated players of the week.
The former Athletico Maldrid Mildfielder scored an average rating of (9.29) as compared to fellow team mates (7.48) of Bernardo Silva, (8.05) of Joao Cancelo and Phil Foden while Marc Albrighton of Leicester City with rating of (9.29).
In reaction to the stat shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra and City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions, with many supporters impressed with the Spaniard’s recent performance.
