Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims RB Leipzig will have to pay €18M to sign Angelino on a permanent basis in the summer.
Having failed to nail down a place in City first team under Pep Guardiola, the fleet-footed Spanish loanee is now lighting up Leipzig under their young coach Julian Nagelsmann.
The on-loan City man has been in fine form for Leipzig this season and is, in fact, the club’s top scorer this term with seven goals in 17 appearances from all competitions.
The 23-year-old, who has also chipped in with five assists from his wing-back position is one of Europe’s most creative young full-backs.
Leipzig will have the chance to make the deal permanent once the Spaniard has played 12 competitive games for Leipzig—five of those have to be played in the second half of the season.
According to BILD Sport via Sport Witness, Leipzig have already paid €2M to sign Angelino, but that will become permanent for €18M in the summer of 2021 if he plays five more games in the second half of the season.

From what I saw of him playing for City he wasn’t…

Stupid move, he might not be great defensively but he’d of offered something in attack.. Mendy and Zinchenko don’t do anything when they play!

Now with Laporte, Dias and Ake we have a stable defense. So Angelino could have worked for us. But pep has his own reasons for it and we trust him 🙏

PEP underrated him so much.
How can u loan angelino and keep mendy alongside zinchenko.
I’ve always loved him since we re-sign him from Holland. Dude playing alongside Dias, laporte or stones will boost his moral and not otamendi or Garcia— CHUPE (@Y_chupe) December 10, 2020
He had his chance at City and didn’t perform he’s found a club that suits him and good luck
