Despite having a growing influence on the City side, dynamic midfielder Foden, who is regarded as one of the best prospects in the Premier League has not started consecutive games since October.
The 20-year-old has consistently impressed when involved and his latest appearance saw him score and set up another goal in Tuesday’s 4-1 Carabao Cup quarter-final defeat of Arsenal.
The £54m-rated playmaker has scored five goals and provided four assists in 18 appearances for City this season.
According to The Mirror, Real Madrid have emerged as ‘serious suitors’ for Phil Foden and are prepared to take advantage of the youngster’s situation at the Etihad Stadium.
The report claims that Foden is growing increasingly frustrated with his time on the bench, and the La Liga club are keeping ‘close tabs’ on the player and have been given ‘encouragement’ by his increasing lack of game-time.
The midfielder, who still has three-and-a-half years left to run on his current City deal looks a huge talent after an exciting breakthrough at the Etihad Stadium, and it would be great to see him continue his development in Manchester.

I know he wont leave but the 0.5 percent chance he does I will never ever forgive pep for it. He would have to be sacked just based off that
