Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of the club’s interest in RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano.
City were heavily linked with a move for Upamecano this summer before ending up signing Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake, as Pep Guardiola was in search for a new defender.
According to Sport BILD via Sport Witness, City have “pledged their interest” in Upamecano, who has a 45million euro (£40m) release clause in his current contract.
Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid are among the other clubs said to be keen on the 22-year-old.
It unlikely the Citizens will spend again next year having already paid big money for Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake this summer.
