Manchester City loanee and Spanish defender Angeliño scored twice to lead Leipzig to a 2-0 win over Istanbul Basaksehir in their Champions League opening game Tuesday.
The full-back, who is on a season-long loan in Germany, struck twice in the space of four first-half minutes.
The Spaniard has now found the net for the third game in a row as Leipzig, unbeaten table toppers after four games in the Bundesliga, continued their winning ways on the European stage.
Angelino has now scored four times this season in all competitions, beating his highest tally for a campaign with only six games played of 2020-21.
His contribution this has helped RB Leipzig to an unbeaten start to the season, which sees them a point clear of Bayern and Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga table and now with the perfect start to their European campaign.

We should get him back at the end of the season, and cash in on Mendy instead. What a talent with cancelo on the right for our future ✌️
