Pep Guardiola goes head-to-head with Premier League newcomers Leeds United this weekend.
Leeds have made a solid start to life back in the top flight following their recent promotion from the Championship and will host four-time Premier League Champions this evening at Elland Road looking to continue that fine start to the season.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men were only narrowly edged out by champions Liverpool in their opening match and since then have claimed victories over Sheffield United and Fulham.
The Citizens, meanwhile, started their league campaign with a win over Wolves but they were humbled 5-2 at home to Leicester City last weekend.
Pep Guardiola an unprecedented move in training yesterday ahead of today’s trip to Yorkshire, though, and that speaks volumes.
According to The Athletic’s Sam Lee, City had a double training session yesterday for the first time ever since the former Barcelona manager took charge of the club.
