Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims Mauricio Pochettino would prefer to go to the Etihad should the opportunity arise.
While the season has only just begun, murmurings of Pochettino’s name are already growing louder with the Argentine still out of work following his sacking from Spurs last November.
The Argentine was sacked by Spurs almost a year ago has been linked with a number of positions, but the 48-year-old is yet to commit to a new club.
Ian McGarry speaking on a recent episode of The Transfer Window podcast, claimed that he had ‘information’ as to where Pochettino may be looking for his next job.
He said: “My information, from speaking to people close to Mauricio Pochettino, is that he’d prefer to go to Manchester City than Manchester United as a project.
“Clearly, they are a club better equipped to give him the opportunity to achieve trophies, which he has yet to do in his managerial career. Whether or not that becomes the case or not, we shall find out, but certainly, with Pep Guardiola in the last year of his contract, that may well become an option for Pochettino – and one perhaps that’s worth waiting for.”

I think is not respect and good to speak about next coach at City. Pep is still there and may be renew his contract so, when is time to speak about it I am the first one to do it. Not now.

Let’s be realistic guys. If Pep wants to leave we need someone to replace him and the most likely candidates are Poch and Nagelsmann. It’s not Poch’s fault Spurs did not win anything. With City’s squad he could do wonders who knows. there should be a contingency if Pep leaves

Poch would attract unique talent to man city. Buying youths are cool and all but I miss buying experienced players and getting a good 2 seasons out of them. Poch definitely would use our youths
