Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a Comments by Riyad Mahrez regarding his future recently.
Mahrez has three years left on his City contract and it is yet unknown if the Etihad Stadium outfit would be willing to sell the Algerian.
A Comments first relayed by ‘ActuFoot‘ on Twitter on Saturday evening claimed Mahrez himself told Canal+ that:
“Paris is my city, for the moment I am under contract with Manchester City, but I am not closing any doors, if PSG wants me, I will think about it.”
According to Sport illustrated, Mahrez has said the quotes circulating on social media is fake. The Algerian also tweeted in response to the quote relayed on Twitter by City Chief that it was false.
Never said that. The tweet you translated was false and just clickbaiting. Video here https://t.co/q78gBXpmgA

It is unclear whether Manchester City will be willing to let the winger move away even if he wanted to leave. Pep Guardiola admitted in December that the former Leicester man has taken his game to ‘another level’.
“Sometimes he didn’t play as I decided to go with Bernardo but all the times he played, he played at a different level, honestly. He’s always a guy who creates something in the box. He’s an incredible talent. He has played more minutes than last year and understands much better,” Guardiola said.

As a fan of City I want Mahrez to stay and get back to his best. As a fan of Mahrez a move to Paris would be the perfect ending to his story. He legit won everything in England. He needs to take the throne as the Prince of Paris 👑

He’s been piss poor this season, lost the ball every time he gets it, looking aimless out there on the pitch. I don’t think he’s even got a successful take-on so far. Needs to step up or be sold in the summer, we can’t keep mediocrity in this club
