Man City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports Gabriel Jesus has been ruled out of action for ‘a few weeks.
The Brazilian forward was left out of the match day squad for City’s Carabao Cup clash on Thursday night in which a number of youngsters turned out in their 2-1 victory over Bournemouth on Thursday.
According to journalist Lucas Scagliola, Gabriel Jesus will be out of action ‘for a few weeks’ with other sources suggesting it could be up to one month.
Man City already have severely limited options for their weekend Premier League fixture due to an injury crisis.
Sergio Aguero out of action in the striking department, Aymeric Laporte is unavailable due to Covid regulations, while Nicolas Otamendi is also among those sidelined.
A host of others, including Ilkay Gundogan, Bernardo Silva, Joao Cancelo and Oleksandr Zinchenko, are all also sidelined through injury.
With the lengthy injury list, Guardiola may need to call on some of their academy players when they face Leicester on Sunday.
With Aguero and Jesus injured should Liam Delap start vs Leicester?
With Manchester City having just 13 senior players fit and no striker , Pep Guardiola could potentially hands 17-year-old Liam Delap with a huge opportunity to make his mark in the first-team.
Still just 17,Delap has now propelled himself into the history books by making an immediate impact on his debut in the Carabao Cup match.
He is cool, composed, and looked absolutely ready for the first team. With Sergio Agüero always injured, he proved himself worthy of a regular bench role in the near future.

Honestly, I love the dude, but I’m not complaining. Delap looks and is clinical! Give the lad a run!— ii_am_Gifted † (@Zipho_Zwane) September 25, 2020
This is what happens when you press and run around too much, anyone noticed that when you run or walk, if you suddenly stop for a while you feel tired, so it is important to keep moving, i think jesus overran and did too much effort to score when the points were all ready ours— AJ 🥶 (@MAguero786) September 25, 2020
